Hellman’s offers free tools, downloads, and grants to help Canadians eat Real (local) Food.

Real Food Grant Program

Last spring, Hellmann’s® received over 1,300 applications for shares in the $100,000 set aside for their Real Food Grants program.  Hellmann's® Real Food Grants are a part of its commitment  to making it easier for Canadians. and their families to enjoy the pleasure of real food.  Hellmann's® Real Food Campaign also includes, handy tools to help Canadians find foods that are in season, as well as markets and restaurants that offer local or “real “ food. Have a favourite spot that serves up or sells locally produced food? Add it to their list!
Real Food Grants were awarded to support initiatives to bring Canadian families and kids together with real food in their community.
Hellmann's®  found the overwhelmingly positive response to their program has been incredibly inspiring and they were  thrilled to see the amazing ideas people have to support real food in their communities across Canada.

Porn on the Library Internet

What did you do at the library today? My daughter usually responds-“Played games on the computer.”
Sitting at the computer in the lBethany library, I was shocked to see  a 9 year-old boy playing a sexual torture “game” online at the local library.  I immediately went to the librarian about it , The librarian told me the library has no safe guards against pornography on its computers stating,“that’s why parents are required to sign a form allowing their children to use the computers.” She then continued about her work at the desk. I was astounded. As a parent I signed such a form for my daughter to use the internet, assuming the library would have at least somewhat of a filter on their system.
Then, later at home, a porn site popped up while I was searching for “sleeping children around the world plastic mat directions” using “bing” This was a shock!
We need to protect our kids from horrible things that twisted minds place on the internet.
