Walk Supports Workplace Tragedy Victims- May 1

Walk Raises Workplace Safety Awareness

Steps for Life Walks to be held in over 35 Canadian Communities May 1st*  to help raise raise funds for family support programs and services to help victims of workplace tragedy, while raising awareness of the importance of  workplace health and safety.

Traditionally held on the first Sunday in May, to kick off  North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week, most Steps for Life 5 K walks will take place on May 1st*.  If your community’s Steps for Life walk is not on the map below, contact the organizers to find out about hosting one in your area.

This year’s  national gold sponsors, PCL and Vale have provided $15,000 each in support of this year's walks and have shown their commitment to raising awareness about the importance of health and safety in the workplace.
